A headline in the Seattle Times Online News Brief caught my eye this morning. “Go wild: Make a garden oasis for bees, butterflies and birds.”
The article encourages gardeners to “plant native plants, as their seeds, nuts, fruits and nectar will feed everything from butterflies to songbirds.” The article then goes on to list the types of native plants to look for. I thought of our fellow social marketer Bill Smith as I read the statement “It’s easy, fun and rewarding to make a difference.”
