African Social Marketing Conference Proceedings – Overview #

African Social Marketing Conference Proceedings

The African Social Marketing Conference Proceedings feature case studies from Africa. The African Social Marketing Association (AfSMA) and FUSE Events organize the conference, AfSMA is one of six regional associations who work together through the International Social Marketing Association.

This conference is the first-ever social marketing conference on African soil. It bridges the gap between academics and practitioners exceptionally well. The conference brings together practitioners, academics, and thought leaders to celebrate cutting-edge research and innovative practices. It highlights what is taking root in social marketing across the African continent and the broader global landscape.

This conference tackles worldwide challenges such as the global pandemic. In addition, it addresses a myriad of complex social, environmental, health and economic issues confronted by Africans. And It offerers an invaluable opportunity to reflect on what we have learned and what remains to be explored. This is critcal to crafting effective, efficient, ethical and locally relevant social marketing programs that meet African needs.

At the heart of these conference proceedings is a commitment to academic rigor. Presentations accepted at the conference first go through a robust, multistage review process, inclusive of desk reviews and double-blind peer reviews conducted by global experts.
