Social Marketing Strategy: Enhancing Emotional Well Being
Where Sighted: Flyer @ Seattle Humane Society
Social Issue: Grief Due to Pet Loss
A flyer at the Seattle Humane Society where I volunteer several times a month has a flyer that “caught my eye” as a Social Marketing sighting for the week.
Help for Grieving Pet Owners
“Product” to Help:
- “Pet Loss Support offers a place for you to work through the grief process in a non-judgmental environment with others experiencing loss.
- Groups take place virtually on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month, from 10am-12pm
- People experiencing all types of pet grief are welcome to attend.
At least 1 of every 10 visitors to the Human Society that I “greet” share they have lost their “best friend” and here to see if can find someone “to fill the space.” I always hand out the flyer.
