Yesterday, January 26, I attended a Webinar: Better Buildings Residential Network New DOE-Funded Research Looks at Homeowner Motivations and Barriers to Electrify. In addition to great examples of audience research and strategies inspired by them, one “tactic” that was shared was a great example of a Prompt. The speaker shared that at a workshop in Michigan for citizens regarding actions they could take, attendees were encouraged to request a follow-up to the workshop and to “not wait”.The PowerPoint slide and commentary featured a “Respond” button and gave them a moment to reply then . . . versus later in the day or the next day . . .one that might not even happen.
