Social Marketing Strategy: Memorable Strategies
Where Sighted: Movie
Social Issue: Support for Caregivers
A movie I watched this week was a story about a Caregiver who had a training on best practices for caretaking.
It highlighted that Caregivers should do 5 “Behaviors” that will help their patient.
An acronym was used as way to easily remember what to do was: ALOHA
- Acknowledge feelings: Recognize and validate the emotions of those you care for.
- Listen actively: Give your full attention and respond thoughtfully to their concerns.
- Offer assistance: Provide help in practical ways, whether physical or emotional.
- Honor boundaries: Respect personal space and individual needs for independence.
- Act with empathy: Approach situations with compassion and understanding.
I think it’s also an example of great Branding.
