Don’t Miss Fundraising Online 2016 or #FRo16, a free virtual conference designed by fundraisers, for fundraisers, to help charities of all sizes benefit from technological change. During this conference, you’ll have access to amazing curated sessions and lots of fundraising know-how.

The keynote is about an inspiring crowdfunding campaign that raised over $300K in 3 days for the Girl Scouts of Western Washington. After a donor requested that their $100,000 contribution to Girl Scouts of Western Washington not support transgender girls, the organisations did two things: 1) Gave back the money, and 2) launched the For EVERY Girl campaign on crowdfunding platform Indiegogo. Seventy-two hours later, they had raised over $300,000.

In this session, Annie Rose Favreau from Girl Scouts of Western Washington and Breanna DiGiammarino from Indiegogo will give a behind-the-scenes look at why, when, and how to run a crowdfunding campaign that activates your community. Non-profit leaders, marketing professionals, and fundraising teams can walk away with learned-in-the-trenches strategies, crowdfunding best practices, and ideas for bringing their community together to create positive change.
